GIRLY, FEMININE, CAMP MEN
- There is a serious problem in gay movement with stereotypes.
- In Serbia: feminine men = gay men, I donīt support that.
- We should not conform the reality, we should change it.
- We should support all the diversity even in gay movement.
- Stonewall revolution was started by feminine gay men.
- Feminine men suffer both from gay men and from heterosexual population.
FORMAL EDUCATION
- Formal education must be upgraded by informal education.
- In our school system there is a phobia in general. It doesnīt open up an issue of
sexuality at all. Children donīt know what homosexuality is but they know it is
bad
- Itīs not humane to be silent.
- Problem is not with false eduacation, but with the lack of education.
- Problem with education is with teachers' attitude toward homosexuality.
LGBT ACTIVISTS
- Is everything that LGBT activists do going in direction toward overcoming homophobia?
- The worst type of homophobia is denying other sexual orientation. Visibility is the way of overcoming homophobia in the long run.
- LGBT activists trying to be "correct"
- Should we conform with "marketing" of LGBT population, they should be perfect?
- We were discusing in our organisation whether we should have positive discrimination for LGBT pople, we come up with "NO".
- We should fight against gay lobbies also because they are exclusive, not inclusive.
- Gay lobbies try to not allow hetero-people within them.
- For me, "lobbying" means changing the reality, for me it is positive.
- Any exclusion is racistic.
- Hetero people that do not "agree" with hetero-normativity are viewed as perverse.
- I don't know how to change people's minds without lobbying.
- We should support gay lobbies, they're doing something good.
- Lobbies represent LGBT activists.
