Andrea

My name is Andrea. I am 23 years old and come from a small city in germany. Its called Hilden with only 56.000 inhabitants. I am working as trainee in a publishing house.

I am out since 5 1/2 years in school, at friends, my family and some few people at work.
there was only one negative experience. There was a girl which was afraid standing alone in front of our school. When she heard that I am a lesbian she fled.
The situation in my country could be better but it is not bad. We don't have the possibility to marry and to adopt children. The cristian democratic party is extremly against homosexuality. Sometimes you have to be afraid if you meet a skinhead. Another problem is that lesbians are not taken serious.
I would like that the homophobie in the head of the people change to more acceptation. And I want for myself the possibility to marry and adopt children.
I find out something about this queer eastern, because some of my friends talk about it. Because I like to meet other homosexual people from other countries I decided to take part. There were no problems to take part for me. I like the Media Working Groups here, but sometimes it is too strict. My expectations for this queer eastern were to have fun and to meet some nice people.
